I offer you a service a service of airflow simulation of your nasal cavity. You just need to fill a form and share me your CT-SCAN in the DICOM format. I will do the simulation and wrote a report with the following views:
3D view and cut views of the Wall Shear Stress
What is Wall Sheer Stress? WSS is the pressure exerted by the airflow to the walls. The higher the gradient of velocity near the wall the higher the WSS. It is an important value because it is the WSS that participe to the airflow sensation.
Airflow visualisation
Air flow represented by lines colored in function of velocity
Drop presure
Drop presure between nostrils and the pharynx, this value represents the nasal resistance.
Cuts view of the velocity
The nasal cavity is cuted several times in order to see the velocity of each cuts.
And also some other datas...
Airflow imbalance between the two sides
The air flow imbalance between the right and left side in percentage.
Cross-sectional area
The air of the "emptiness" all along the nasal cavity.
Mean mucosa perimeter
NEW
This is the average nasal mucosa perimeter calculated over 3 sections, expressed in millimeters as these are sections. This represents the amount of “surface area” of the mucosa.
Mean WSS
NEW
This is the average Wall Shear Stress value calculated from 3 sections. This value therefore reflects the amount of friction between the air and the mucosa.
Size of the pharynx
NEW
This is the cross-sectional area of the pharynx at its narrowest point. A value that is too low indicates a risk of obstructive sleep apnea.
One more thing... The service costs 140€. This price is determined by the amount of time I need to perform the simulation, extract the data, and write the report, which takes about 7 hours.

Virtual surgery
How it works?
In addition to the fluid simulation service, I can perform virtual surgeries on your nasal cavity to simulate implants, for example. To request a simulation, click the "Request a Simulation" button above. Here is the procedure:
First fluid simulation
I am performing an initial fluid simulation based on your scan to establish a baseline for comparison.
Virtual surgery
I discuss with you the placement and size of the virtual implants or any other structural modifications to your nasal cavity. Then, I adjust the 3D model accordingly.
Second fluid simulation
Finally, I perform a new fluid simulation to compare the results with the initial one. I provide you with a comprehensive report that includes the before-and-after results of your nasal cavity modifications.
