The nasal prostheses are made from a soft, transparent material that is biocompatible with the nasal mucosa. The material is also non-porous, which makes cleaning easier and reduces the risk of bacterial growth.
Before use
Simply rinse the prosthesis with water before the first use, as well as before each new use.
Insertion
Position the prosthesis in this orientation, then insert it into the nasal cavity in this way.

Cleaning and disinfection
Soap: wash the prosthesis with mild soap and water, then rinse well.
Alcohol: to disinfect it, wipe it or soak it in 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) for 5 minutes at most. This disinfects but does not sterilize. Longer baths can damage the soft material. Let it dry fully afterwards.
Storage
Store the prosthesis in a clean place, away from daylight. Indeed, UV radiation can damage the material, causing it to yellow and become brittle.
