Choosing your model

Which nasal prosthesis is right for you?

Each model matches a different degree of inferior turbinate loss. Find your situation in the table, then jump to the matching product below.

Model Recommended for... Volume missing
Mini Tube (5 mm) Reduced or absent inferior turbinate heads Up to 100% of the inferior turbinate heads
Cylindrical (3-4 mm) Minor to moderate volume loss Less than 1/2 of the inferior turbinate missing
V-Shape Intermediate volume loss & narrow nasal entries Between 1/2 and total turbinate loss
Tube (6 mm) Significant or total volume loss Total turbinate removal

Mini Tube nasal prosthesis in transparent biocompatible material, showing the thickened U-shaped loop Close-up of the Mini Tube prosthesis showing the two 5 mm tubes at the ends

Standard model

Mini Tube

The Mini Tube prosthesis is specifically designed to fill the gap left by the absence or the reduced volume of the inferior turbinate heads.

The U-shaped loop has been deliberately thickened to improve retention.

  • Tubes 5 mm in diameter
  • Thickened U-shaped loop for a more stable fit
  • Soft, transparent material, certified biocompatible with the nasal mucosa

Made from your CT scan

Custom prosthesis

Custom prostheses are made from the same material as the standard versions and follow the same overall design, but their shape is modelled on your own anatomy.

  • Designed from your CT scan
  • Same biocompatible material as the standard models
  • Two steps: send your request, then pay once the design is agreed
80€ per part (one nostril)

+ 10€ shipping (25€ United States, 15€ India)

Why is it more expensive than a standard prosthesis?
Designing a prosthesis from your CT scan takes a significant amount of time, and producing a single unit costs more than a small series.
