Definition: Losartan is a medication belonging to the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) class, primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and to protect the kidneys from damage caused by diabetes. It works by blocking the binding of angiotensin II to its receptors, which prevents blood vessels from narrowing and promotes vasodilation, thereby lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow. Additionally, it is frequently prescribed to reduce the risk of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and left ventricular hypertrophy, and to slow the progression of diabetic nephropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes.
I as ENS patiënt used Losartan to help the nose swell inside to get resistance and to reduce anxiety and stress. It works really well, i am very satisfied. I take a tablet of 25 mg, and divide it. One half, i crush and snort into the nose. The other half i ingest. This way, you get the desired effect of nose tissue swell + feel better. The snorting + ingest is the reason it works.
Snort can be done in portions, spread during the day. Why it works: it widens the artery + it decreases a stress substance in the blood ( by reuptake of anginotensine). For people with low blood pressure, be a little bit carefull, because this medicine will lower your blood pressure more. This medicine, is available on prescription only so you have to explain your doctor why you need it for your nose. 25 mg = light safe dosage. ( half crush snort spread during day) half ingest). More is not working better.
